2006 Reg Cab vs 2014 Acc Cab Topper

Looking at buying a second hand ARE topper from a 2006 reg cab. I want to know if it will fit on my 2014 access cab. Been searching TW and the net and cannot figure out if it will fit. Cab angle and all. My Google Foo is pretty darn good but I am having a hard time figuring this out. Anyone have any experience it this fitment.

Should be the same, since the body didn't change

 

I think it will fit but the lines on the back of the cab may look off.

Also if its a silver top, the colors are slightly diffrent 2014 silver is darker.

 

Are there any other trucks that will fit the double cab ? I want a cheap cap that will only be put on twice a year for camping at certain lakes I go to.

I just don't want one to damage the truck and also don't want to spend a million bucks when there are about 100 toppers on kijiji in my area for under 300

Try to find one of the aluminum work truck ones. They look goofy, but I think the dont follow any curves on the cab. Maybe look for one off of a dakota,t100,fronteir, or colorado. Just get the owner to measure it before you drive to look at it.
