Anyone think there will be any problem mixing 75W-90 and 80W-90 for my T-case and Front Diff, or just straight up using 80W-90?

I checked three stores, bought the last 4 quarts of 75W-90 last week and did my rear diff.. Everywhere is still sold out of the 75 but I can find a lot of 80 and still need about 1.5 quarts. Should I just use straight 80W-90 on the front diff and T-case, mix them, or wait and find 75W-90 somewhere? Oil confuses me. lol

If the oil is the same brand that should not pose a problem.

So, I got bored this evening and made a build/bs/idea thread to keep track of all my ideas and wish list. lol :anonymous:

Cool, that's what I thought just wanted to make sure. I figured if anything it would just give a tiny bit more resistance, but in the transfer case and front diff I doubt I'd ever even notice, or that it would put any extra strain on the components.

If it's the same truck I'm thinking of
I have not personally seen it, but it's been on craigslist for a pretty long time. If I remember correctly he just selling for more room for the other toyotas he has. Seems like a nice truck but everything looks good in pictures. Worth looking at, I just think he said he was in no rush to sell so no low balling.

Saw a lifted red tacoma with a front plate bumper, HC rear bumper, and a snorkel on the Georgetown Parkway in McLean on my way out of the office today around 1:30. Had MD tags with the farm picture on it. Anyone on here?

Got the amount they want to give me for my truck funny thing is its based on what they call fair market value of the truck based on sales of my truck in my area but yet its not enough to buy 1around here now waiting on what the buy back price is

Cool. He's got a sweet truck! I've seen him in passing before, but this was the first time I've gotten a good look.

Mason, you're the one running the Hankook's correct?

I'm still stuck between them and the General Grabbers. lol practically the same price, both have good reviews and are rated for snow and warm weather, and seem to have good traction in all conditions.. The Grabbers are just a 60K mile tire and the Hankooks are 50K. I think that may be the deciding factor for me, which may end up being the deciding factor.
