Saying goodbye to TW...

Sorry to say it, but I sold my '13 Taco dbl cab. Had it blacked out, and the way I wanted it, but I needed something better on gas for my commute. Sold the Taco and got almost my entire down payment back. Ended up with a '14 Prius for work, and used the cash for a '73 GMC Jimmy full size with a built 350, factory convertible with softtopper, roll cage, 6" lift on 35's, extra parts and a booming system. The PO put about $25k into it about 8 yrs ago with a body off frame resto and his wife was making him sell it. I picked it up for $7400...I've been looking for a K5 for a long time and this is pretty much the same thing. I will say, I was incredibly bummed to see my Taco drive off, with someone else behind the wheel.

You do not have to leave the site at all. There are a lot of guys who don't own Tacomas here. You also didn't have to sell your taco. I would have just gotten a beater or moved closer to my job.

 

really thought the highlights of that page would be green instead of blue. i wonder if they ask what size tire they can run with stock suspension and when will the 2016 be released. i also bet they have dozens of threads on the chevy volt taking sales away.

 

On at least one of them you'll find a group of folks quite proficient in ironing out the problems with PIDs needed for the ELM327s and other related DLC3 interfaces used to pull OBD-II codes, read temps, etc.

I have a Prius and a Tacoma. 50 mpg when I need to travel, dependable truck when I need heavy duty. Best of both worlds.

 

I thought both of best worlds was having a sports car and truck.

 

The hating on the Prius thing says more about a person's confidence in themselves that the buying a Prius thing
