Spare Tire Recommendations and Advise

I just had a 3" Lift completed on my 13 Tacoma yesterday. My original OEM Wheels are 7 1/2 x 18 and had a 265 60 18 tire. I went to a 9 x 18 Wheel with 285 65 18 tires. Should I keep the OEM spare and put a 285 tire on it OR should I get another XD wheel with matching tires. My concern is the larger tire might not fit OR would it and be to heavy for the under the truck mount. I'm not interested in carrying it in the bed of the truck. I hate to spend money for another XD wheel if I can use the current OEM wheel to get me to a repair shop. Not using the truck for offroad.

 

spend the extra money, get the full size spare. theres a thread somewhere on here that shows how to fit a 33" spare where the oem spare goes
