My last Tacoma I had, when I installed my LED flasher, I removed the DRL harness and DRL flasher but then only the rear turn signals worked so I had to run wires up under the truck to the corresponding front turn signal.

I don't want to do all that again, so I'm wondering if someone has figured out a way to install LED flasher to get the turn signals to work. Also, I don't mind not having DRLs as long as I can run my LED turn signals.

    Thanks everyone!

Picked up mine from VLeds; they have a new model that has what they call hi visibility : Part #: 3157_21_HV_A_CK. I have the older platinum which are the same brightness as the oem bulb. As far a i know there isn't a led drl flasher for tacomas, but use a resistor; it's simpler and cheaper.
Splice in your 6 ohm load resistor/mount it behind each rear lamp housing so they only heat when in turn signal mode. If you put leds in front and rear, you'll need two load resistors; they can still both be installed in the rear. There are 3 ohm resistors which may do the trick for front/rear led turnsignals so only one need be installed. http://www.amazon.com/Amico-Chassis...qid=1415496818&sr=8-1&keywords=3+ohm+resistor

I also bought the amber front corner 6-led bulbs and 6-led bulbs forthe hi-mount stop light.

The Tacoma front bulbs use the CK bulb type and the backs are just normal. A normal 3157 bulb will not work in the fronts, only the rears. Swap the fronts out with 3157 CK and it'll work. Just did this in my truck as well
