Starting something up

Hey guys. So a couple of my buddies and I that have been studying film in college are about to graduate, and we've decided to really pursue the film/video production business. One of the areas we have really been looking to market to is the online audience. We are going to be doing local shoots for weddings, commercials, ect., too. But our creative sides want to create original content on a frequent basis and release it to the online world. What we need to make that a successful effort is an actual audience.

So, if anyone has any advice as to how to effective take on being a 21 year old, soon-to-be business owner, please chime in.
