Found this looking around online, was this really an option? Must be extremely rare if so because I've never seen one in all the years I've traveled across the US. Or is it something someone did aftermarket?

Well whatever it is, Toyota should've made it, that and a manual option.

Never seen one of those before! Think that would void the rust recall warranty? lol

No manuals in the double cab long beds, just short beds.

Some guy had a long travel dclb 1st gen. I wouldn't ever buy one because for one, is got to be a custom job and the thought of the frame being chopped up and resembled just makes me cringe and for two, they make the 2nd gen model from the factory so why not just upgrade.

I've seen a couple around so cal...(about 5) different colors and areas too...I'm guessing it's custom. Never have had the chance to ask someone.

    Interesting...I would assume custom job?

Now to find a custom regular cab with a bobbed in the rear DC bed!

Turning around a corner with that would suck...My short bed double cab is long enough already, haha
The wheelbase on that must be like 135"+ [IMG]

Yes, its custom. I saw it on TTORA a few years back. I'm not sure how it was done, I just remember seeing the picture.

I actually think it looks good, no different than a second gen DCLB really. Can't be that much harder to drive either, they're only a foot longer bed than a DCSB.

I would check the wheel base on it, it may be a bit harder to make u-turns in that thing if they extended the wheel base on it.

I see no problem with it IF it was done right by a professional person with proper knowledge but you just never know and I wouldn't want to get into something like that and find the frame strength isn't what it should be or the welds are sub par

Oh man how cool is that. Rare too(if stock). Looks in good condition too. If aftermarket the frame is probably weird.... So be careful in that thing. You never know.
