Gas Thieves!

Anybody else ever have their gas stolen (or just been vandalized) by someone coming along and drilling a hole in their gas tank? Any good products out there to prevent this or make this a harder thing to do?

Never seen some anything like that before.

 

I hate to say it but yeah a garage, however you gotta take the truck out sooner or later unless it's a garage queen.

 

You can get a gas skid plate. Best case, it may deter them and they may move on to an easier target. Worst case, they take the extra time and drill through anything.

If they want something from your vehicle, they will take it.

just when you think it cant get any worse, thats a new one for me.
the sad thing is they can do it to any vehicle, they probably targeted trucks because they sit higher..

only thing i saw like this was on our storage lot for acura.they hit about 50 mdx's and stole all four cats of each one.we figured they hit the mdx's and not the other cause they sit so high.didnt touch the TL's or RL's at all.
