Mac users

I have a 13" Macbook pro and I would like to know if there's a way to disable the sideswipe to go back a page feature on the mousepad? It drives me crazy whenever I'm scrolling down on a page and just barely move my fingers to the right and then it sends me back to the page I was on before. I want to disable it, is there a way? I am using Opera as my browser btw.

 

system prefs>trackpad>more gestures>swipe between pages checked off

I think this is what you are asking.

 

Settings

 

System Preferences>Trackpad>"More Gestures" tab>unselect "Swipe Between Pages"

I have not updated to OS X Yosemite yet, so this might be different if you are running a different firmware, but highly unlikely.

Thanks guys. Yeah, I don't plan to do Yosemite yet, the reviews of it so far aren't so great.
