Has anybody ever used this kit? I've heard good things about it, and with coupons, etc., you can buy it right now through Amazon for $12.99 (regular price - $29.99). - https://slickdeals.net/f/7464988-3m-39089-fuel-system-tune-up-kit-12-99-reg-30-ar-ac-amazon-fsss

I see they also have 12oz. Chevron Techron Concentrate Fuel System Cleaner $3.74 + Free shipping for Amazon Prime members - https://slickdeals.net/f/7454240-12...ntrate-fuel-system-cleaner-3-74-free-shipping

I'm currently running the Gumout All-In-One Complete Fuel System Cleaner through my truck right now. I'll let you know what I think.

    :)

I tried gumout, seafoam, stp, and a few others but I haven't found anything better then B-12 chemtool fuel treatment and it costs less then the others

I pretty much only use BG products. Most others I have not noticed any difference.

Ed, I've used Chevron's Techron Concentrate on a regular basis for years. I had occassion to pull a cylinder head on one of my vehicles due to a burnt valve and to my surprise, the combustion chambers on the head were whistle clean and free of any carbon deposits. I can say that the stuff works.

I have no experience with any of the other products with the exception of "Seafoam" and that didn't do much except make a big cloud of smoke.

I recommend a bg fuel injection service. Makes a big difference in my vehicles and my customer vehicles.

BG 44k tank drop is the only one worth anything. I have used it for years with great results. The only real way to do any good though is to have the system cleaned, really cleaned. The you can use your tank drops as maintenance. If you are trying to clean the system out a tank drop will never do it.

If you do take your truck in to have it professionally cleaned make sure to ask them not run the entire intake clean. It will lean the truck out to far and can/has caused cat damage from getting too hot.

The injector cleaner, the one the truck runs off of, is worth its weight in gold.
