I get a new frame in December.

 

Has anyone's taco 2005-2008... had a new frame replaced because of a rust recall and had any out of pocket expenses. Dealer is now saying I have to replace rear shocks and other parts at my own expense. My taco is a 2007 4X4 with only 51,000 miles and excellent running truck. I hope I get it back in same excellent condition. They've had it for a month and still haven't done any work to it and don't know when it will be finished..,claim they are waiting for parts.

 

you don't have to pay anything at all. if the dealer suggests you need new shocks, struts, ANYTHING all you have to say is NO. they are just trying to get your money while you're in a compromised position.

 

for what it's worth, my truck has been at the dealer for 9 weeks and they are still waiting on the frame.
