Got My BF K2 Tires - Now the lift

I do have some tools around... what are some of the tools that i will need?

 

i usually never go 80 and surely not shifting in and out of traffic so i think i'd be ok

 

2 jack stands, jack, wheel chalk(2x4 or something similar will do), socket set, hammer, crow bar, stuff like that. Maybe screwdrivers and wrenches. If you want to torque the bolts you should buy a tourqu wrench from autozone. I bought one for about $15 or $20

 

for some reason you guys changed my mind... i look forward on doing it myself... ill get friend and a six pack lol

 

If I go for the front adjustable coil over kit with shocks, what rear lift would you recommend?

still an aal. Stay away from blocks. I actually run 285/75/16 tires and I bought the 3" lift All Pro leaf packs. At first I kept my rear stock with just the rear tsb and those tires rubbed the fenders. An aal will work fine too. But I threw those leaf packs on and it helps. My back currently sits about 1/2" higher in the rear with my coilovers set at 3"

 

thanks a lot keller... everyone... i think from what i've seen i will for the front adjustable coil over kit with shocks /aal on the rear... and tc uca's... its going to be a little more than i anticipated, but i want to do it the right way the first time..

by the way would this aal do?

 

Thats good. For coilovers I reccomend fox, king, icon, and camburg/sway a ways. Right now I still have the OME rear shocks but I will be upgrading to the Fox rear resis. They are adjustable. I also like my fox coilovers because they are adjustable as well. If you get the setup you are saying you will be very pleased

 

how bout this ones toytec offers

 

Here is my opinion, These come with the ultimate lift that toytec sells. They are good. But I noticed that a lot of people that have these have ended up upgrading in the future to one of the coilovers that I listed above. If you are going to get coilovers I say get a better set. If you want, even look in the for sale section for used ones if you dont want to pay for new.

hmmm. Theres a handful. Check out allprooffroad.com and offroadwarehouse.com you can try wheelersoffroad.com but idk if they have them or not. I bought mine from all pro and picked them up since i am local
