Anyone notice the SOUND in the video? What are the chances that's how the new one sounds? Trying to figure out what kind of engine that would be. Kinda sounds like a small displacement V8 actually...

    0% chance on a v8

question would be if that was the Toyota exhaust or TRD

I'd bet money on it too. But the growl doesn't sound like the 4.0 for some reason. I listened to the video again (but on home stereo speakers) and it sounds very much like the V6 that nissan puts in the G37 and 370z. With means it could actually end up being a 3.5L instead. The engine seems to rev quite quick in a few of those clips which is also surprising.

If I can buy a four cylinder, manual, four wheel drive access cab in black with a sunroof I will be happy. I will probably be driving my '06 until 2020 or so, it will have 300,000km on it by then.

The engine in the video sounds like a 1grfe or something from the same engine family. I won't be disappointed if it is, mine is great.
