Keeping the manual transmission

wonder if the new 6spd will mate up to the 4.0 in the 2nd gen.

thats if its truly better than the current 6spd

 

Right now, that's the biggest thing that is making me want to get over the dumpy front end and buy a Taco instead of a Canyon.

The Canyon is nice but I bought the Taco because of my last 2 experiences with Government Motors and the fact every single GMC/Chevy dealer played pricing/rebate scams.Oh yeah, the hand brake in the Tacoma sealed the deal. Emergency brakes should have zero electronics.
