Toyota did not mention anything about cabin space and rear seat space. This is really important since the back seat space on the current model is not very substantial especially for taller people. What do you guys think ? I think if they did not mentioned anything it means it is the same

The general consensus is, even if the cab isn't exactly the same, it's awfully similar. I would not expect there to be a significant change in rear seat legroom in the new Tacoma. It's one of my bigger complaints about the Tacoma too. Unfortunately, to get susbstantial rear legroom, you need to go full-size.

Exactly what i think, this is one of my biggest complaints too. GM did a good job with the legroom on the Colorado . I am really hoping Toyota did something to remedy this

During the live press event they interviewed the Toyota lead engineer. He said that the truck is a few inches longer, the same width and the same height. He did not mention exactly what those length inches were used for but I strongly suspect it was not extra cab space. I'm sure they would promote that as a selling feature.

extra 3 inches in front is all added in front of the radiator.

extra inch in the rear is likely from the bigger bumper.
