    I am posting this here, as well as the event's thread, since, well... It just belongs in both places so bite me! :D Haha.

    I just sent our collections, donations, and my bearing donation to Mike's wife, Kimmy. She was quite please I think with what everyone had done. I am sure she won't mind me cutting and pasting what she had said about the donations:

    You see, THIS is the kind of stuff that makes me honored to be a part of such a community. I feel honored to have known and talked to Mike, and to have been able to talk to you as well Kimmy. So everyone, thanks to all of your generous donations, above and beyond the raffle and such at the memorial event, I am happy to say that we were able to collect an additional $1160 by the end of July, and I expect that when my calendar runs out on the 18th of this month for the bearing funds, we should have an additional $400 or so. Thanks to all of you who participated! :woot::oldglory::canada:
