The other day at work this guy parked across a couple rows from me, like 1 or 2 other cars in the lot and that's it. He comes walking out to where I'm parked(my truck is all by itself) next to it under the tree and is just standing there doing who knows what.
I was watching out the window with my finger on the panic button on my viper alarm ready for his next move.
Intense moment but he just goes back to his car. What a freak

Interesting^ I keep meaning to add an alarm to my compustar but just haven't gotten around to it. It's a pretty boring 300 bucks to spend lol.

Put the tent on to help demo it for someone interested in buying one. I may get out and use it this weekend. Thought I'd take a pic next to a customers Lexus.

He's got a pretty elaborate setup to say the least...18 gallon water tank where the stock spare tire is. Deck fill for the water tank in the floor, water pump with a retractable shower head/faucet, forced air diesel heater mounted to his rack with ducting to the tent and his awning when he has the walls on, 1000w inverter, dual batteries, etc. I'm sure there's more lol.

That's kind of what I think. But he likes camping where an RV can't. Also, he's like 70+ years old haha. Awesome old dude, I hope I'm still into this stuff when I'm his age.

He's 70 and probably doesn't know what a forum is haha.

In other news, I I'm starting to compile a list of things I'll need for a second battery to install in my bed. So far everything I've tallied up is about $600. But I think I can get away with spending less and still have the setup I need right now.

my main goal is to have an led flood light for camping attached to it with a few USB plugs for chaging phones or other devices. i may run LED strip lighting to my RTT too.

I think with a 92 ah AGM I should have plenty of juice for weekend trips. I also may add a solar panel to keep it topped off, but haven't done much research yet.

When I get a winch I'll be adding an automatic charging relay between my start and house battery, but for now I won't have them connected at all.

Is your main battery an AGM? I just swapped my undersized one for a new one from FATS, was only 160 bucks with a discount...

Yep its an AGM. Bought it a couple years ago. I may buy a new starting battery when I get the second one too. Not sure yet. UT Generally Better To Replace all batteries in a bank at the same time.

After a terrible night of sleep on the beach in the RTT, I found a little trail to drive down. First time I really flexed since adding my 33s. I definitely need to trim a little more but not much.

oh I almost forgot, on the way there, I threw a p0420 code and later had the most awful hard shift I've experienced in any vehicle. The two aren't related but it was a bit nerve racking. Felt like my drive shaft fell apart.

How do you like the 33's? And the duratracs do well Offroad and onroad?

I also threw a P0420. 3 times actually. Kept clearing it and it's been gone for a week. Maybe I got a bad tank of gas. :notsure:

So far so good. 4.10s are no sufficient haha. I'm also showing 212 degrees and occasionally 214 on my ultra Guage unless I turn my heat up and roll down the windows...

I think my radiator may be blocked or rusted up Cuz I have a new water pump and thermostat as of last fall.

I almost always show between 200 and 210 on my ultra gauge.. haha and that was after i flipped the t-stat to the correct position. I'm not worried about it

It just seems to fluctuate so widely I think something isn't right. It'll go from 214 on flat ground at 70mph, then drop to 190 as I coast down hill. And sometimes it'll drop as the load on the engine increases.

Oh yeah that is weird. Mine hardly changes at all but is constantly around 205-210. My guess is the PO just put in a warmer thermostat.

Maybe the radiator is super gunked up and coolant isn't flowing steadily all the time or something?
