Winter gas is max 3% reduction. Just gassed up and had to adjust scangauge from 8% to 9.7% or 1.7% worse from fuel.

Cold weather = bad mpg. Here is mpg graphed for 10 years.

Worst tank every, black dot 24 mpg, my commute went from 10 miles to 1, hard to get good mpg with a short commute.

Winter gas mixture decreases MPG in most vehicles. Your milage should pick back up when the summer blend gas is brought back to the gas pumps.

Yes ..it usually does. I always see a drop in winter, cold weather and winter blend fuel. Pretty much every year drops into the high 15's to low 16's. This year has been much more dramatic though as said,12-13. Crazy! Waiting for spring, nothing good about winter anymore, time to fly south. :)

Cleaned my MAF sensor before filling up. I'm averaging 18.9 after two trips to work and a trip to Sam's. The Sam's run usually causes a dip. I think it's too premature to say that cleaning the MAF sensor has helped, but the initial feeling is a good one. I hope it stays up there!
