Fortin Evo-One & T-Harness for Remote Start

    Have any of you installed a Fortin Remote Start? If so, how did it go? Would you recommend?

    On ebay I found the harness for $40, the remote start/immobilizer bypass (evo-one) for $140, and the flash link updater for $55. This should make the remote start plug and play into the Tacoma's wiring.

    I'd love to hear your thoughts on this. Thanks.

    Anybody? I went ahead and ordered this along with a DEI DSM200 smartstart remote for iPhone and Android. I plan to program it to use the factory remote and iPhone over cellular.

    It is not supported by the Evo-One, so I'm guessing no on the
    $61 Evo-All - Universal All-In-One CAN Bus Data Interface And Transponder Immobilizer Bypass Module
    Evo-All. It's a limitation of the Tacoma, I think. But call Fortin Tech support and ask. They are very helpful.

    I just installed a remote starter using the fortin t harness and idatalink bypass. I bought the kit on Amazon it was advertised as a plug and play.
    advanced auto security sells the kit all ready flashed and all the wires tagged. The one I bought was a crime stoppers the kitit was 199.00
    it is specifically wired for the 2013 to 2015 Tacoma. the best part is that you don't cut any wires they just plug into the ignition switch and you use the supplied tap connectors to connect the wires. It took me about an hour and a half I have a 2015 limited. Good luck

    Can you post a photo of the instructions? I bought a remote starter, bypass, and USB flash device. I'm looking at all the wires and realize that I ef'ed up. From my understanding, these remote starters (wiring wise) are all the same because they are made by a few parent companies and resold as many brands. I'm hoping your instructions will apply to the kit I purchased and hopefully I can get it working. Thanks!

    BTW, did your kit come with any relays pre-wired?

    I bought a remote starter kit for my 2015 Limited from Amazon it is made by crime stoppers... the kit came with the t harness and the fortin bypass you don't need a key. It was easy to install only connected 6 wire and it worked great Ground, horn, parking lights, immobilizer, tach, 12v I chose not to connect the remote lock... There is a video on you tube ......the kit was 199 or 250 with 2way 1500 ft range.
