    Im going to try my 4runner i know it has nav but not sure about the entune. has weather and all. Ill have to wait and see if he sent me a entune unit first. Shows monday estimated date. Ill be at work so ill have to pick it up tuesday since it has to be signed for

    I installed my HU from FLTrucks a few weeks ago, everything is awesome.
    One issue, when i plug in my old school (black&white, rotating front wheel) Ipod into the HU USB, it doesnt recognize the mp3 player. THe new school Ipod touch works fine through the USB.
    Anybody know how to fix this problem??

    Sounds like a software compatibility problem. I'm pretty sure the new head unit will only work with the new devices because it is easy to work with the latest gear and spend money on the latest software to work with its system. If I was toyota, I would not spend the extra time and money to make the head unit work for something over a decade old music playing device.

    Just a guess - but I think its a 'firmware' issue.
    I've had issues with older ipods not working properly with 'new technology' because the firmware isn't recognized. Compatibility issues. I don't know if there's anything you can do to fix it other than contacting FLTrucks to ask them. The unit might not be compatible with that old firmware.

    Good to hear I for some reason did not get a tracking number through paypal but FLTrucks said the units were shipping out Friday so I hope mine comes tomorrow cause I will be home all day lol.
