I just bought some KC HiLiTES 451 Apollo Pro 5" 55w Driving Light System
lights to mount to my Smittybilt 54011 bull bar. I went with the 5" 55Ws because I wasn't sure if the 6" 100Ws would fit right after mounting and I got tired of reading bias reviews for other brands on other forums. Does anyone have any insight into what's the best type (fog, driving, or spot) or brand that will mount well on my bull bar? I bought these KCs on Amazon, so I have no problem returning them for better ones when they arrive. Thanks!

"driving" beams are usually similar to a "euro" beam, in between a flood and a spot. If you dont have any other lights then driving is a good mix of spread and throw

The gap is like right at 6" but with the KC lights you have to account for the mounting bracket and the lens protector. Only place I could find that could give me the maximum light size for my bull bar was on Ebay and it said 5" was max. I don't necessarily trust ebay's sizing tolerance since ebay was my only source.
