Hello TW!, just registered so this is my first post.
I've lurked around in the past gathering some good info.
What brings me here today is. I've heard many good things about this gentleman you guys call " Mr marv" I'm in the process of installing aftermarket audio system in my 2013 dbl cab, and from what I have researched Mr Marv is the chosen one when it comes to sub enclosures.
I have my HU, pioneer AVH-X5700BHS subs Jl audio 8w3v3's. Jl 500/1 sub amp and a couple old school Hifonics VII amps to run everything else ..Still haven't settled on up front components yet. Was kinda hoping I could get some recommendations from you guys for front/rear speakers. I'm not looking for license plate rattling sound. Just clean crisp enjoyable sound. My old ears are still screaming from my younger days. So quality is my goal. And do I just pm Mr Marv if I would like to get a box built for my dbl cab? Thanks in advance for any info.

If budget isn't much of an issue focal 165krx3 3 way components will fit, the sound is amazing I just did a set for a customer and it sounded really good, for a little more modest price the 165vr3 is what I have in mind and for less than 1000 they are a beautiful sounding speaker

IMO the best value for money is the K62/63 series though,
the k62 will play ball with mids 2-3x their price.

Their amps are also outstanding!!! quite a few Top US name brands( not JL etc ) have tried to acquire the rights 2 of their amp lines!

I really like the Focal 165KR series, cheaper than the KR2, and to my ears the KR's sound better with incredible mid range.
But i am going to run a set of Focal PS 165FXR speakers in my truck, they get plenty loud and rear speakers are not needed nor do i ever do rear speakers in my vehicles.

with the PS165FXR speakers, i demo'ed them at work with everything from Queen, to Suicide Silence, Gangster rap and Ska,they sound incredible with all types of music.
I am just going to power them with the JL XD700/5 amp so about 75watts
