Anyone here swapped out their stock bench seat in 09 taco 4×4 base model with buckets from same or similar year? I did this in a 1991 toyota i owned but had to do some bracket making and seat belt plugs didn't match up on it so i just left them unhooked. My 09 is almost cherry so i would like a good fit and look? Any advise will be helpfull!! Thanx.

I'm just starting to look at this as well, I did a bit of searching a while back and it seems the mounts all line up, just have to poke through the carpet for one an each bucket. The issue is the airbag connections. Hopefully I'll have time to start looking at this again soon. Good luck!

I googled about switching and found the thread. Sometimes thats faster and easier than searching this site itself.

Go to a salvage yard and try to find a tacoma with buckets. I believe 08+ will have airbags in the seats, so you may have an airbag light come on.
