Yes I said FRONT!! and Yes I said ELOCKER!!! Installed today on my 2014 DC Tacoma! I am Very Excited about this and guys Those of you who have not wanted to go with The ARB Because of compressors and air lines there is an Option Eaton/Harrop Elocker out of Australia. Had Mine Installed today By Tor Of Torfab Out of Mukilteo Wa. He is A dealer of the Harrop Elocker and other products. I HIGHLY recommend Tor and His Guys!

Checkout his site www.torfab.com (206) 659-8677 and give him a call!!!!!!

Call Tor. Of TORFAB, But he's still working on the exact pricing because of import fees and number of lockers ordered

How many did he order? Imo it would have been cheaper to go threw harrop directly, oh well it is what it is. Stoked that its becoming a option

Black dog im not sure if they would have one for the first gen trucks but when i did my truck it came to 1600 CDN just for the locker

Yeah:/ where is the benefit to that? Reliability? Are the compressor and lines really that much of a hassle?

It's not going to be twice as much as an arb!! Ghost figure was in Canadian dollars, and don't forget with an arb you still have to BUY and INSTALL. AIR COMPRESSOR! And that adds to the cost of an ARB too.

Don't care about costs for install. I'm going to do it myself. Set my own gears up, an arb will be easy to do. But if an e locker costs just as much I don't see the point.

But what is the cost of just the locker?

My beef with e lockers is they aren't instant on/off unlike an arb. And electronic stuff tends to wear fast and fails more often. Especially when you can run an air locker off co2 which merits dry air lines and makes them even more reliable.

Unless it's a good 200 cheaper then an arb...I don't see it totally worth it.

Is cool they make me though.

The harrop is an instant on off locker so don't where you got that info! I like ARB STUFF as I have bull bar OME and ARB intensity lights, but there are guys that have some issues oil in line ect. Nothing is perfect and there can be pros and cons to everything! But eaton/harrop have been doing this awhile too and the there locker is just as good.

That's what the dealer told me about my fancy 4x4 switch in the tacoma . Butttt , cool to see new options. I have an ARB in the rear and kinda interested in a front locker in the future so I too am curious on pricing.

Yes the button is instant. But elocker a don't engage instantly. Least the stock ones don't. Sometimes you have to drive it up to 10 or more feet to get it totally engaged.

That might be true of the stock ones but it is not true of the Harrop Elocker

Nice! Keeps us posted as to how it works! An Elocker is great for someone who doesn't want/need an air locker, and in my experience, they engage just as quickly as an ARB.
