I am thinking of getting the Total chaos or Camburg long travel setup for my truck. Has anybody upgraded to long travel from a different lift on their daily driver. I just want to make sure the long travel kit will hold up well as my daily driver for work and for long highway drives. Thanks for any input.

I will sell the spindles afterwards if you still want them. My Icon coilovers will need to go to. I am not sure if my uca's will work with the lt kit, if not they will be sold to.

well, it will not be that bad at all since im assouming your not running a sway bar with your mid travel it should fell a lot like your set up on the road but day and night on the dirt... i drove a 92 race yota on the street before and it wasn't bad... it was horable. its great for showing off though. just take a turn really sharp around 10 mph and you can get one of ur rear tires off the ground. that was with 22" of travel in the front and 26" in the rear. with the total chaos or camburg LT you will be fine since its not a race kit.

Damn, no compatibility. I was hoping to get the lt kit for less than $3,000 before coilovers. With the TC or Camburg lt kit, I can keep my front bumper right and I just need new fenders in the front.

Good to know, thanks. I would get new fenders anyways, right now my TC spindles push out my wheels 3/4" on each side and its noticeable. If it were 2 inches......... the fenders would make it look better. How long have the All-pro lt kits been out for the 05+? I know Camburg and TC have good track records with 1st and 2nd generation tacomas.

Kind of wishing I might have gone this route instead of the ICONs. I had the money for the LT kit at the time.

I am hoping to get a little over 2k for my front setup, considering it has less than 5,000 miles on the new uca's. The spindles and coilovers have about 14,000 miles on them.

my LT rig is both daily driver and weekday work truck....

i use it take my kid to school everyday, go grocery shopping, and a couple times a month, it hits the desert...

oh, and we can get you into an LT kit WITH the coilovers for about $3,000...

    Too much to list!
my truck is fun to drive on road, i speed up for dips and speed bumps cause you cant feel it. not to mention the offroading is rediculous! the only down fall of driving longtravel on road is the fact that i have to buy new tires almost every year. rotate them constantly to get any life out of them. check out my pictures if you want but my whole set up is custom, so $3,000 would get you probably just the drivers side finished lol.
