the accident forgiveness would be a question for tyler and satin as far as how they might fair against a deer or another vehicle, I'm sure its stronger than the OEM crash pad behind that plastic :D

What model Viair compressor do you have and does it have the twist-on or clamp-on chuck?

Had no clue you'd be interrogated today, did you?

Im not going to waste $150 on a small compressor that takes 45 minutes to fill up my damn tires!!!!

What I really need is a co2 tank. 5 minutes and off we go, even with 35s.

I understand from people that have them, that a co2 setup comes with its own issues too though.
I think they can freeze up if it's not warm enough out. Also, when they're out, you're sol unless you have a backup compressor.
If money were no object, I'd opt for both!

Thank you guys for letting me air up with your compressors. I shouldn't have made it sound like that haha, it just annoys me that there's not a more solid all weather option. Money is an object here and why I probably won't have the truck ready in time for RT this year. I would like to buy a 400p Viair though. I can't be running around stealing people's air! Haha

    I now have the 400H. 2.25 minutes from 15 psi to 35psi for 35"tires. That's only 9 minutes for all 4.

CO2 is awesome but also problematic. I will keep mine in the truck in case I need to seat a bead, run air tools, or need to air up even faster.

    FYI difference between the to:

    400p (portable)
    400H (hard mount)

Really? Yeah haven't done much research as you can see. That's plenty fast for me. Did you mount it on the passenger side by the fender?

Well took it to Firestone today, got it aligned and supposedly balanced. They "diagnosed" it and said everything looked fine. But the wheel is still wobbly and not right.

Soooo, I guess I need to make an appointment at Stevinson and ask for Jace.

And I hope not! But I want to save up for a MTB and some other truck parts. Also dont want to be too hard on the truck on 35x12.5/ stock gears out there.

Go buy yourself a 400P and I'll buy that 300P right off you. Don't think I won't. This can happen.

Suit yourself. I'm just disappointed you're not going to honor those new shoes with a new compressor instead of filling them with dirty air from an old beater 300P. It's a shame, really, but it's your decision. I won't judge.

No I mounted it where I had my other air compressor. Twas a tight fit but it's in there. I think since you have a newer truck your only option is to put it on the passenger side.
