XRXS = Extra Rigid, Extra Strong

    Fits 2nd gen and 3rd gen Tacoma's.

Designed for extra heavy items, like spare tires, surf boards, and canoes.

I'm not sure if they would be able to support an RTT, but maybe some of you can do the R&D for me on that one.

The main point of these, is that they will be very strong, but still be able to work with a tonneau cover or topper.

They will have almost zero flex. The cleats and the bed rails will be the limiting factor with these.

As you can see, they will fully encompass the cleat. The extra bends add tons of strength.

    Design details:

    - Constructed of 14 gauge steel.
    - Mounts by bolting to factory cleat.
    - Black textured powder coated.
    - Slot on the top will accept a 1/4" bolt.

Price is $90 each or $175 for a set (including all hardware).

Better pic's coming as soon as the weather breaks around here.

For my standard strength brackets, click here.

For my heavy duty brackets that will support an RTT, click here.

Are you planning on making a tailgate skin. Maybe with wrap around tailgate cap? I like your products but not much need for these but I'd love to see what you could do with a tailgate skin / reinforcement

I make a tailgate cap, but the tailgate skins are pretty well covered by Relentless.

I like your cap. Thinking of getting one but I'd also like a skin and your work seems pretty solid compared to some others. Just was hoping you would I guess haha

Thought about it. maybe don't need to change the design. thinking maybe three plates with a 90 break on it and slots would eliminate the need for extra slots. the idea I was thinking about would allow the two end pieces to slide in to clear the wheel wells if the divider is slid forward. if the center piece has a slot cut to align with the two rear most slots the most forward section would be used to mount it. the outermost pieces could mount in the rear most slots with allowance for overlap, and maybe a washer on the not overlapped bolt as a spacer.

    What do you think?

Really do like these. One of these days I'll have enough saved up for a full KB Voodoo bed makeover.

    I love mine too.

When I get done mountain biking, I use them as a seat. It's more comfy than the tailgate, and I'd rather drink beer in the bed, haha.

They don't flex at all when you sit on them.

Thanks man. They really are stout. I sit on mine after mountain biking all the time while I have my post-ride beer. They don't flex at all, even with my 220 pound self on there.
