Winter boredom at work again. I can't take credit for this one but it seems to work so so. For anyone with a 6 speed that changes out their shift knob with something aftermarket or DIY. You are left with that ugly chrome bezel at the top of the shift boot. I have used a rubber washer for years and has done the job. Decided to give this a go. $3 at Autozone. Had to order it but it fits like it was made for this spot. It is a little cheapy rubber looking but I may try to clean it up a bit.

I have modded my turn signals and corner markers to flash opposite each other. Simply connect the two wires of the flasher to the coil wires of a five terminal relay. Then splice the two normally CLOSED contacts into one of the wires going to the corner lamp. This will allow the corner to function normally until the turn signal lights. The relay will close and OPEN the circuit to the corner marker. It will flash off when the turn signal is on and then on when the turn signal is off.

I have not, however, figures out how to embed a video to auto play...

I think you mean a five terminal relay. This would be a standard automotive SPDT relay which has a normally on and a normally closed set of contacts.

Nice mod though. The signals on my mirrors do the same thing when the lights are on. :)

You are correct in the correction of my terminology. Five terminal.

I just wanted folks to buy the right relay. I have several SPST (only normally open contacts) in my project box, and they won't do what this project needs.

I may be adding extra LEDs like the mirrors and other things when I retrofit my headlights, whats the best way to have some LEDs as a running light and blinker? What relays do I need? I have standard 5 pin ones

I have this diagram from a TW member, but it doesn't have any external power come in, which I don't like since I don't want to over use the stock OEM wire power.

That's a cool mod - what's it look like when you throw your hazards on? Both outside, then both inside?

I don't know if anyone has ever posted this, but when changing your cabin air filter, spray it with some air freshener to make your truck smell better and maybe help the vents.

I change mine every 6 months about, as it gets full of leaves and shit. And they're only $7. The air freshener lasts like a couple months depending on how much you put on.

Mike, it looks crooked to me. The thing that sticks out to me is the body line above the sticker vs the Rock Warrior words. The R in Rock looks lower to the body line than the R at the end of Warrior and not just because of the upper and lower case.

Hmm.. sorry dude, it looks like your truck is totalled. Let's just hope the insurance company appraiser agrees.

It's a classic example of a bedside decal that wasn't properly leveled to the bed-line with the text.

Looks like you used the body line below to measure instead of the bed line.

Looks level in the top pic, I don't think the original sticker changed. Just added the mts and rock warrior text. :notsure:
