I know its Kinda flat here but we do have SWORR, Mark Twain National forest and tons of random roads to get to fishing holes. So start lying and gossiping and posting all the great wonders of Missouri. I'll start post a bigger fish picture if you can.

Anyone want to go play in the Snow?

Hey fellow MO TW members. I am planning a trip from Chicago to Fayetteville AR. What is the best route from Springfield MO to Fayetteville? Should I continue on I44 to Joplin and then go south? Or should I go through Branson and then US 412 west? I will be leaving this Friday evening, stopping for the night around St. Louis and continue Saturday. The trip planner indicated that going through Joplin is about 20 miles longer. I am not sure how busy Branson is this time of year.

Are you in Kirksville from time to time? If your truck has a snorkel and a cap on every once and awhile, it's you for sure I'm seeing.

Just got new shoes - I see some nice Tacomas around but not as much trail armor in CoMo as I would have figured.

Dude, I'm looking at the same thing. I bought a bunch of crap I want to try out - new tent, bag, I have a hammock now, lots of stuff. I think you can camp basically anywhere if you drive to one of the Mark Twain Ntnl Forests, but I haven't confirmed. The Devils backbone wilderness east of Spingfield looks enticing.

If you don't mind paying for a spot, there's Finger Lakes state park like 10 min north of CoMo on highway 63. Should be plenty of campsites out there but it won't be secluded. Neither will catfish Katy's though.

As far as I know, there's nothing in or even near Columbia.
Southern Mo Off Road Ranch is one place. Here's my M416 tent trailer there at the TLCa event a few weeks ago...11261672_10204901664729990_7862348832912171276_n.jpg
