This weekend some friends and I lifted my 2nd gen with 5100’s at 1.75” and 1/4” spacers. Ever since I’ve had a “clunk” from the front driver’s side while driving that I couldn’t figure out. (I feel dumb now.) It hasn’t been when I hit every bump, and there’s been no rhyme or reason to when it clunked. Saw this tonight and figure this has got to be it, but can’t figure if something didn’t get put back together right or if something has come loose. Driver’s side vs passenger side. Any thoughts?

Something is wrong on the side with the 1/4" spacer. You might be missing the washer underneath the coil bucket or have the wrong size bushings installed. see this video link and watch for a couple of minutes, might give you an idea of what's going on... https://youtu.be/nqzy3U7yYsQ?t=656

I don’t remember if I put a washer under the coil bucket. I’m kinda hoping it’s just the bushing is too thin. How would I know the difference?

Thanks guys! Sure enough it was missing the washer and bushing on top of the shock/under the coil bucket. Got it right today. Rides great now. I’m happy I can finally say I get what guys on here mean when they say 5100’s lifted ride just as good as stock.
