Recovery strap is something I’ve actually needed more than anything else even on pavement when people get stuck in ditches

Well, since I've been following this post, I've upgraded to AJT climate knobs (totally unnecessary but cool), breather mod behind the brake light, finished Benwa window slider (awesome), Upgraded to deep cycle battery, Added Meso design dome LED light (red/white), Tuned with @JustDSM which brought some significant performance improvements, deleted accumulator (surprising big difference), replaced worn out clutch with URD stage 2, RCI aluminum skid plate, fum oil valve. Last thing I want to do is the mobtown tailgate mod and I think I'll be done for awhile. Although I do have my eye on the spotter mirrors.

Everybody keeps saying Redline tuning hood struts but I prefer @SpikerEng if you do you're own maintenance then you'll really appreciate the extra room with their high lift struts! I've had both and definitely prefer Spiker. And also @mattgecko LEDs hood kit and bed light kit... you'll thank me later. And finally another one for the Fumoto drain valve, couldn't imagine oil changes without it.20210219_120048.jpg 20210218_121107.jpg

Desert Does It seat jackers. Made the biggest difference for me driving when the seat is in a much better position. These, climate control knobs, and a new headunit are my favorite interior mods I've done to my truck.

Its run right off the battery, I'm not running a distribution block yet. Super easy install, just follow the directions included.

If you're looking for practical, I HIGHLY recommend looking at the Ultimate headlights upgrade. My 2015 stock headlights were trash, and I couldnt see anything in rain or a really dark night. Similarly, when I was in the backcountry camping or whatever. That upgrade was truly experience changing for me.

No money, all went to truck...
this pic isn't my truck but I installed the track tie downs and they have been the best. I think I bought all parts from etrailer. I spread 5 18" tracks around the truck bed. Was fairly cheap. Drill and bolt through. Took about 2 beers time.

Hard to believe nobody's mentioned throttle controllers. I did a lot of investigating before I got mine & found most everyone who tried them really liked them while folks that didn't try them don't like them. I don't know how they work for a 4.0 but for a 2.7 W/ a FBW throttle they are a must. I'd been disappointed with my Taco since I traded my "98" for this 2013. Installed my "Sprint Booster" appx. 3 weeks & still amazed at how well it works & puts the pep in there that should have been there from the factory. All caused by Govt. MPG. regs...I love this thing.

Such a good upgrade it's stickied in the 2nd Gen forums: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...-not-led-or-hid.398066/page-147#post-23318578

Lot of pages to go through, but basically buy new bulbs, and purchase the harness (you MAY not need this depending on your vehicle, but the thread will teach you how to decide). Luckily for me the harness guy lives in Colorado, so I was able to just swing by after work and pick it up from him.

He also does a Ultimate-foglights-upgrade, but I haven't found the need for those yet
