Just saw a commercial for a new 2018 Tacoma offering 0% for 72 months. When I bought my 2012 new the dealer said the truck has never been at 0% and prob never will as the trucks sell themselves.

Is this a sign that the new trucks aren't as good as the previous body style like mine or earlier and having trouble selling?

Just saw it again that it is for a Presidents Day sale. Thru the 20th.

I am still surprised that this newer truck is being offered at 0% .

Here is a thread for a 2012 2nd gen Tacoma also sold at 0%

Finance rates doesn’t often dictate quality of vehicle. Toyota offers a lot of 0% a lot of the time

He didn't know what he was talking about. It's a Toyota thing, not a (whatever year) Tacoma thing. So who makes commission of the truck sells itself?
