Finished up maplight modification and reinstalled everything. This was a easy mod that made a big difference to the lighting inside the cab

    Funnel you said this

I spent the rest of the day undercoating my 1st gen just about to update its build thread

Used a full can. Once family taco gets its new frame I will do the same EEB0F2CE-40AC-4540-87D3-C201340BC8A0.jpg

that's weird haha I do have another solution for you. take the cluster out and remove the LED but you would need a soldering gun. or a propane torch and a metal rod would work too

Next job is to sort out the handbrake and ABS light as they are both on ....

In investigating the possible cause I had the hand brake pedal pushed in and it released (it seamed to)

I know the truck has little brakes left on the rear and i am hoping this is my problem

    I have new

    Rear drums x2
    Shoes x2
    Hardware Kit x1
    wheel cylinders x2
    side axle seals x2
    Pinion seal.

where to start with the ABS ?

Back from my research and the shop manual told me to bring it to a authorized service dealer because it is a complex system.

I have a ODB2 cheep princess auto reader that does not pull ABS codes :( found this method in a different post going to give it a try

TEST MODE PROCEDURE (for Using a SST Check Wire)

EDIT: In order to pull codes, you need to connect pins 4 and 13 and then turn the key to the on position. This will flash the codes.

    Toyota oem sst lol

    ABS troubleshooting

I have a code 34 left rear wheel sensor signal malfunction. I took a video of the light but it’s not that exciting.

So if your doing this you need to cross out slot 4 and 13 in your odb2 then turn on your ignition (not start) your abs light will start to flash a sequence that coresponds to numbers found in the service manual troubleshooting chart

I just used some random wire and twisted the ends so they would fit into odb2 slots
