Sadness. I'm sure you should have feet of snow. But as the Cheeto in charge of the US says, there isn't any global warming.

You guys are getting a break this year. In SW Alberta we are having the worst damn winter I’ve seen in 20 years. I don’t think it’s ever going to stop snowing and being -30. I’m ready for spring.....

So 2007 taco frame replacement is completed some pictures of the process. The total was $168.00 as I had them put on the high pressure power steering line (1/2 h labour) had to pay for antifreeze and transmission fluid. Over all this whole experience at Toyota plaza went smooth and they helped me out where they could by installing new parts that I supplied instead of the old ones. They took the lift out of the truck and placed it in the box. This cost Toyota Canada $16000 to do this work

GO GET YOUR FRAME INSPECTED ON YOUR SECOND GENERATION TACOMA BEFORE IT IS TO LATE AND THE DEADLINE HAS PASSED AND YOUR SITTING ON A TRUCK WITH HOLES IN THE FRAME

    This looks so familiar, hah.

My tailgate was hacked and chopped to bits for diy locks and plywood box-cap security by the time I tossed it.. The inside skin was missing for the last year for easier access to the cables for manual opening (when the handle didn't work)..
I bolted angle iron to the top inside edge to keep it straight enough to open/close until I found a kijiji tailgate that fit my budget ($200, color matched) came with the factory backup camera, which was also a plus..
Lovin' the budget approach, seized bolts and dry NL humour...

My taco is my 1st vehicle. I only let the stealership scam me on 2 things, wheel package and the undercoating package.

But have they ever paid and paid on that undercoating package, I have made them reapply it entirely twice. No way they can tell me I paid for an undercoating package yet I can see my frame with out anything on it and its ok.

The last time I took it in to have it fully re-undercoated because I just redid my entire suspension to get lift, and wanted it all nice and protected. I go to pick it up when they are done, and its like they didnt even try to undercoat it. I had a very loud one sided conversation with the service manager 'If its metal on the underside of my truck, it has to be coated no excuses'. New appointment, took it back in 2 days later and by magic it was FULLY undercoated this time. They undercoated everything excessively this time. I mean they coated the inner wheel wells in the front that are all plastic. Love seeing my new suspension all protected :cookiemonster:
