So other then having the MAN flu the only thing Taco related i have done is put new wipers on the ones from the u pick have now seen better days. I still have a rotten windshield that is more like over spray from Fluid Film. I have tried various glass cleaners, even brake parts cleaner with no luck any home made remedies ?

ALL my free time has been going into my basement Reno its about half done

I do enjoy carpentry work and it seams to switch between mechanical and woodworking a lot

    IMG_1943.jpg IMG_1944.jpg

The other night i had the need to go turn wrenches and do something mechanical, so i went out into the garage and started picking at a FREE air compressor a Toyota friend gave me. I have two air compressors as it is but they are small and used for nailers. My plan for this one if i can get it to work is to bring it to my cabin and leave it up there for blowing up tires and to power various framing and roofing nailers that i will be using during the construction of my summer home.

I have all the parts "I think" i dug this out of a snow bank on the side of this guys house.

So i cleaned up the compressor, fixed the poor attempt at a rewiring it and decided to stick the motor in the vice and direct wire it to a plug and spun it up.

I was going pretty hard on the old rum and coke mixed with water at this point and good thing as there is no heat out in the garage.

The air pump spins free also so i mounted the motor and put the belt on and plugged it in expecting it to spin over but all i got was a HUMMMMMM

Upon further inspection and research i am thinking the start up capacitor needs to be replaced, so i took a few pictures of the #'s on it to see if i can track one down.
