Dealer said they would take it off when they do the frame so I could get it rebuilt. I was talking to the guy who rebuilds them and he said all he does is cut the old one out clean up the yoke where the factory has staked the cap in, install u joint and re stake.

    Can’t be that hard ?

Nope! I'm actually borrowing someone elses at the moment, but looking at it it looks like it could easily be replicated.

That’s a much nicer measuring tape than mine. Thanks for that! Now I don’t have to get off my butt and measure it.

I always buy the tapes with the fractions on them as I learned metric in school I find it hard to remember all the fractions

Guys at work call them turkey tapes because any turkey can read them lol that’s ok I love turkey :)

This that and the other thing.
if you can survive until the summer running those front coil overs on ur truck I'm putting my lift in this summer and if u pay shipping u can have my front coil overs. I have no idea how many km's are on them but they still seem fine haha they are the yellow Bilstein shocks. I bought the truck used 2 years ago so like I said not sure how much life is left on them haha I will post here once I have my lift installed to touch base on this topic
