This is out in the lighting forum first with no answer so I figured my luck would be better here

I have looked around here on TW for an install thread on these lights but the closest I came was a thread about retroing a projector into them. I was just curious about how they bolted up since the moutning points over hidden behind the attached parking light. I cant think of a way to get to them since the parking light seems to be unremovable, has anyone bought and installed these and cares to shed some light on it for me? thanks in advance
here is the link to the light I'm talking about:http://m.sears.com/product-details/p-SPM6846758813?partNumber=SPM6846758813&sid=IDx20110310x00001i other threads I've read dont cover how they were installed

I should have searched a little longer like you suggested. The first link answered my question as soon as it said I had to cut into the grill. I assumed there would be something evasive and out of the way about installing them. Thank you man, I appreciate it

It is not necessary to cut, actually. It just makes it easier to install if you do. They are a bit of a pain to install however, if not. Basically the grille must be unhooked and pulled out slightly. Then the lights wiggled in place in the grille itself. Then juggle the whole grille with the lights in place, tighten the lights, and pop the grille back in completely. So yeah, in order to get to the side marker lights, the whole light needs to be ubolted (2 bolts from behind headlight) and the grille popped out. Really not as bad/hard as it sounds. Pretty easy and quick once you do it a couple times.

But yes, these lights aren't all that great. I'll admit that. But I love the look with a retro.

Piece of junks!!!!! Wish i could return mine back to ebay
    And get my money.
Afer installed these lights they look awsome but
Shine like lasers no forms of light, worst than shits
I shoot 3 emails to ebay try to return the product but didn't
get any replies and now im stuck with these gabages
So here is.......... let me say this out loud and clear
    FUCK EBAY!!!!!:brianr:
Install is not that hard but you have to cut the edges
Of your grill to be able to fit. Dont do it just return the
Gabages it aint worth your grill unless you plan to
Retrofit. Hope this clear your mind

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
I have these. Just have to cut the corners on the grill then two bolts on the back and a screw on the top.

Im going to sell mine (very new) as I don't like the tint (and neither does my inspection shop :(). If you are interested, PM me, come with corner amber/white switch back led bulb. Pics in my build thread.

Thanks for the offer man but I think I'm going yo stick with a traditional set up. I've read a couple people not getting good output with aftermarket tinted lights. So I'll probably see what I can find that isn't tinted and see how good they are

What type of bulb fits into the corner light on the one piece assembly? Is it the stock T10 or something else?

The stock plugs for the T10 bulb (corner) or for the 1156 bulb (blinker)?

That sounds like the blinker/corner lens mod. I'm not too familiar with it myself. Basically you rewire and/or replug the corner lens to be the blinker, and there's options to make either/or/both to be switchbacks as well. Here's just one thread i found real quick. But there's more about it. Just do some digging.
