I am going to be beach camping at Jalama Beach that weekend with a day stop in Pismo for my Bday. I will get out there with you guys sooner or later so you can see how my "piece of shit" Giant 64 kit handles business :p.

Nice! Have fun at the dunes. Hit up Tacokid!

I don't recall calling it a piece of shit.. But if I did I didn't mean it like that. They didn't handle as well as they should have in a majority of the trucks I rode in. (my opinion.) Glad you got it dialed!

I am working in the assembly and shipping department putting the kits together after powder coat and sending them out. I got to ride in a couple of the other guys diesels and I was extremely suprised at how well they ride both on the street and in the dirt. It is a pretty crazy feeling to be mashing in a 5 ton solid axle truck haha

Thanks man. I dont believe anyone has done it yet but it would need to be a custom new mold. The lines of the one piece would not run with the lines of the grill/headlights. I would talk to Fiberwerx if I were you

 I have never been there before but I am stoked! Do you happen to know any good spots to kayak if the surf is pumping? We would rather not fight the waves to get some good kayaking in haha.

Waves r gonna be on the small side. U will b fine. Place is really cool, north end has a real tresel train bridge with a lil river that flows under it. We even saw turtles in the water lol. Really cool place. The south end would be best to Kayan it has some rock reefs and stuff. Make sure u try the jalama burger at the lil store/grill. The breakfast burritos r bomb too. Now I want to go lol. :)

Had an awesome trip. Jalama is a rad place to get away for a bit! Can't beat beach front camping. Got some good pics in front of an epic old barn off Jalama Road.

How much you got in your rig thus far? Parts and labor?

I bought the truck for $8,000 with 110,000 miles and total including all the interior, cosmetic, tires, and suspension I have $11,000 on top of that. That was buying all parts either used or discounted. I saved about $5,000 on Dezert Rangers and Race-Dezert.

U check out the lil river that's at the north end? Cool train trestle (however it's spelled) bridge. I love jalama, cool drive back! Little berms off side of road on the last windy parts are fun to bank off :D
