02 tacoma coolant flush question

    im doing my coolant flush and i know of the drain plug at the bottom of the radiator but isnt there one on the engine block?

    i have the 3.4 v6 can anyone help me i have looked all over i dont have a manual and its really bugging me.

    Looking at the manual looks like it's on the front side in the middle of the block.

    Do you really need to empty the block?

    Depending on how you do your flush.... I personally wouldn't leave the block 'dry' (so to speak).

    You can leave it in there and flush it out with water.

    so i would have to remove that plastic cover on the front of the engine and it should be somewhere near the middle? and when you flush it after its flushed you flush it with water and when does the heat get involved i read something about using it

    so flush it out with warm water thats it? then just fill it back up with new anti freeze
