03 skid plate onto 98

    1998 Taco: RevTek F/R lift ProComp shocks JBA cat back MagnaFlow cat cross drilled/slotted rotors K&N CAI Redline hood struts Flex-A-Lite dual radiator fan Galaxy DX979 (barefoot), Wilson 1000 (thru-roof). 2012 - Finally "Bro-Lean" status since springs have negative arch. =( 2005 4Runner: sold May 2013 2006 D-Cab Sport: (purchased new, paid off in 18 months, sold March 2010 for 2nd house) Current vehicles as of 2015: 1992 - Lexus SC400 1997 - Lexus SC300 1998 - Taco (listed above) 2001 - Lexus IS300 2002 - Lexus SC430 2002 - Lexus LS 430 Ultra Luxury 2003 - Lexus GS430
    I've searched around for a simple skid plate and like the type that is available for the 2003 prerunner (see attached image).

    Any luck fitting this onto a 98 prerunner as it's model specific for the 2003. Anyone know of something similar for the 98?

    I've already searched these threads but have'nt found anything like this. Many Thanks in Advance!!

    it SHOULD fit...however its almost purely a cosmetic skid...just FYI

    blue led headlights, 285/75/16 grabber AT2's, custom pedals, custom shifter, flowmaster 40 series muffler, bedlinered fender flares, 2.5" lift kit via shackles and spacers, custom exhaust out the back, chrome exhaust tip, and Herculined bed, Weathertech floormats, Cabelas Trail Gear Camo Seat Covers ... Nice thing was I got the truck for $4000
    x2...those skids won't do anything for protection
