My TPS is going bad and I can't find a replacement. Toyota says my engine code doesn't even show a replacement part. Does anyone have an 02-03 TPS that has a 4 prong connector and rotates counter-clockwise. Or, does anyone have an entire Throttle body assembly that would fit 03 3.4L, engine?

    Too few to list.
As far as I know, none to be found in the U.S. Bought one new a couple of years ago off a guy that bought 2 overseas and sold me the other one. You might want to try looking overseas or Canada.

Not good! I am almost positive mine is bad and I haven't even started looking. Surely this would be a common part???

Unfortunately in the U.S., the part is not sold by itself from when I looked. I found a guy that had the same problem and he had to oder the parts overseas and they would only sell 3 units at a time. He bought 3 and sold the rest and I was lucky to buy one off him. Otherwise, whole thing replacement for $1,200. Seems like Toyota has a habit of doing this with some parts. 4th gen 4runners have a brake booster with an accumulator and the accumulator would go bad and the whole part is something ridiculous like $2,400.

I found one on "nextdayauto.com", it indicates that it is a 4 wire? I believe this is the one we both need.

I hate to "threadjack", but has anyone installed and calibrated one of these? My repair manual does not give the best description, and I don't want to take it to the Toyota dealership... their mechanics only seem slightly less competent that I am. I guess these are basically potentiometers, so they adjust resistance based on their position right? idk... I am kind of concerned now between availability and adjustment procedures.
