    Hi everyone,
I'm new to the site, and need some help. I just bought an 04 Tacoma V6 5spd 4x4 ext. cab. I bought it even though it did not have cruise control, which I used on a daily basis in my 94 4Runner. I really want to get cruise control on it, but wasn't sure if a dealership could install a kit or if there were any aftermarket kits that work. I really appreciate the help. Thanks,
    Brent

Thanks for the reply, wing. I looked at that link and it looks very helpful. It says that the truck in the demonstration is a 2005. Do you think it is still pretty much the same as my 04 as far and layout is concerned? I'm not real sure fot the major differences between the two so that's why I ask. Thanks again,
    Brent

we do cruise controls for dealers from time to time. A lot of cars come with the cruise already installed, you just have to install the stalk. I haven't did a tacoma, but i have did some toyotas. I would check to see if the truck has two throtle cables under the hood, one going to the pedal inside, and one going to the cuise module. If thats the case just order the stalk. if thats not the case, their are universal cuise controls that would work. Thats not realy a DIY kind of project unless you have some experiance. Most trusted car audio shops can do a cruise install .
