Found a used runner, low mileage, limited, 4x4, v6. Really considering it. Something about 15k for a 15 year old vehicle bothers me. What do you think kit is worth and what kind of issues should I expect? Appears it might have a head gasket in the future but still think it might be worth it. Thoughts??

Some perspective on the matter, region is going to dictate majority of the price on the vehicle. Cali fetches high amounts for any older tacoma or 4runner. I honestly think that was a fantastic deal. Not sure what brought you to thinking about head gasket issues however, if the vehicle had all the maintenance paperwork then you would have found a unicorn. I just sold an 02 tacoma with 160k for 10k, bought an 06 V8 with 180k for 9.

HGs are common on ‘04/05s, had to do mine. That’s too much to me, I bought my 04 in 2008 with 48k on it for $20k, SR5

Guess I didn't do the math on it being a 05 considering the age and post date! I was no shit just looking at your build page haha and love it!

Its crazy how much just toyotas in general hold their prices. I think my truck is still worth the same price the day i bought it used in 2018 and 20k miles later.

Sorry for the late response, this is a problem I am unfamiliar with. Sounds like a wiring issue though or a shifting issue. Then again, I have no experience with what you speak of!
