Damn! I thought they DID do the frame swap. Now I am concerned with my CMC again. Emotional rollercoaster.

I really hope you guys get some sort of traction with Toyota. I was one of the guys that posted early in this thread. I went round and round with Toyota and got no where. I know I am going to be passed if all of the sudden Toyota does do frames in a mass recall. But at the sake time 8th will be good for everyone else that finally Toyota stepped up. I had to get rid of of my 05 Dc because I cart around my kids in it and it was just now worth worrying about something bad happening with them in it. But now I have another car payment which I didn't before. I was at the same dealer that I bought the truck from, they did what they could by submitting reports and photos to Toyota and I did my due diligence on my end trying to get somewhere with Toyota customer service. Good luck to all and I hope Toyota makes good.

My 2006 DCLB 4x4 has a nice size hole by the driver side cat. Factory hitch looks pretty bad also. Will post up some pics soon. I guess I better hold off putting on my Icon stage 2 lift that just arrived last week.

So are all the trucks that had the frame replaced STOCK? or have suspension and other work ?

I am far from stock. Mostly bolt on, suspension, but I just cut the cab mount.

I'm taking mine up Tuesday for frame inspection. I stopped by yesterday after work and showed the service manager the rotted rear bumper bar and got the thin lipped "hmmm".

Brought it in, showed the service writer my pictures. He said if they deem the frame unsafe/ fail it, they would replace it at no cost to me. Normal stuff. Was told to be patient, that it not an overnight process. Also, that they might need to get a regional Toyota rep involved for approval.

Waiting for info now... been +6hrs.

Nah, had a loaner. So I was called, told there was ONLY surface rust. Would not do any frame work until there was a clear HOLE through the frame.

SO.. It is doccumented, and I have 15 years from the date of first use. 9 year mark almost to the day as it is now.

That's good to hear. I've got to get under my 08 and poke around. It's showing signs of rust like the other trucks in this thread.

I believe that is on sheet metal body panels. I was denied by Toyota after an exhausting attempt to have my 2005 Frame replaced.
