Hi I have an 05 prerunner and want to get more payload capacity with the factory rear tsb. From what I read this will add a leaf and stiffen it up... Will it give any extra lift? How much if no longer under a factory warranty or will a third party warranty cover it? I just purchased my taco with 75000 miles but got a warranty for 2 years or 24k miles. Thanks in advance!

It is usually only covered under the 3yr/36k mile bumper to bumper but I have heard of others who have got it done with the extended warranty. It's not worth paying for however. I would look at aftermarket leaf packs.

Incorrect, it's a completely new spring pack, 3+1 configuration (3 main leaves one one overload leaf)

If you were to research you find that average lift is about 1-1/2"

Do not but the TSB. It is cost-prohibitive.
Instead buy an OME Dakar (+2-3/4") spring set or an Alcan spring set (to your specs).

In the site classifieds here on TW, you can try posting a WTB ad for TSB springs if you want them.
    They do show up occasionally.
