I own a 05 SR5 impulse red.It seems as though my fender flares (all 4 ) are fading to orange. Just getting a big runaround from dealership.Does any one have this problem or know of anyone.

    Thanks

That's why as great as it looks I would never buy a red vehicle. The amount of work it takes to keep red from fading sucks. Cherry like reds tend to orange out over time where darker reds go maroon.

A good clay job and finish restore should help a bit.. maybe even some rubbing compound? Whatever you do make sure you wax and protect after.

I have an 2008 Impulse Red DC too. Am waiting for the day that my flares turn orange only because they are made of plastic/fiberglass. Sun takes its toll on these things.

    Yeah, it sucks!
