The cheapest way is to do the BHLM.

It'll cost you 1 can of spray paint. Mods don't get much cheaper than that.

It's really very easy to do, and there's tons of DIY info on this site to get the job done right if you take your time. The better part of 1 day on the weekend is all you need. Mine took me about 6 hours, and that included watching the paint dry.

so i decided to do the BHLM myself, everything was going prety good, was able to detatch the headlights no problem, but.... when i started to paint the inside piece the paint was not sticking very good to the chrome, decided to rub it off and start over with primer and then paint it again.will do tomorrow, is there anything else i shoulda done or should do to make this paint stick better????

rough up the chrome w/ sandpaper or a 3m pad...also, use krylon fusion spray paint, its made for plastics adn doesnt need primer. i've used the stuff on a ton of BHLM and it has worked great every time!

Get krylon fusion paint for plastic from Wal Mart. Works awesome!! Do about 3 coats or untill you cant see chrome. Make sure you are carefull when you put them back together because they could scratch.

Shipping is expensive because they bring the price of the actual item down to attract buyers...
