2005 trd sport tacoma

so I did the upper cayts this weekend on my truck after engine light being on forever and it being diagnosed that they were plugged and put brand new o2 sensors in as well cleared the code and then the code comes.back once again me and my buddy were considering cutting off the bottom ones and just straight pipe it just wanta check if its givin anyone grief doing that
