So the 4runner rad mounts right into the front clip without any mods to the front clip? That's awesome news I'll order up a new rad here right away. Been trying to get an answer on this for a while. I'm hoping to have it finished for September.

    A thing or two...
    Check out this thread: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...mance-radiator-for-our-trucks-finally.539151/

It's an FJ radiator that bolts in. Just have to change the fan shroud and overflow reservoir. They're supposed to be coming out with a Tacoma specific radiator later this year.

This is correct it's the same mounting with the correct inlet and outlet. Also if you plan on using the factory clutch fan keep motor placement in mind. Sat my motor lower and a little further back for center of gravity and better weight distribution and the stock fan had to be be trimmed and it never engaged due to it not being close enough to the radiator to get the correct temperature

The v8s have a different inlet and outlet. Yes that radiator will work if he had a 1gr in his truck but he has a 2uz

Can you post some pictures of your fitment and also how your oil pan clears the front diff/ADD tube?
Wonder if it would be possible to bolt the motor in using everything from the 4Runner (engine mounts, radiator, fan & shroud) and only have to fab the trans cross member and drive shafts

Edit: Did you keep the the Tacoma fuse box and just spliced the Tundra ECU to the Tacoma body electrics?

How far back did you move your rear crossmember I'm thinking of moving the engine back just to shift the weight back. I've only been playing with the truck a little here and there haven't made much progress lately.

Got the truck sitting at ride height and I'm going to try and lower it a couple inches. But need to do a little rework to retain the 7 inches of uptravel.

Also as an added bonus got myself some Hutchinson beadlocks. These rims are awesome here is the build up pics took about 10 min to build up a tire and rim. Unfortunately I have to run 2 inch wheelspacers in the front to clear high steer. But it will be a half inch narrower in the front at 86".20181007_223006.jpg

Okay awesome thanks, not sure I want to go that far back, but I'll see how things measure up. I'm also pushing the axle a little further forward.

What I've seen done is guy placed the motor where he wanted it first and then cut out the entire trans cross member from the frame rails and welded it back in where it ended up being given whatever motor location

I need to move the axle forward anyways need a little more clearance with the firewall. Also I have my original skid plate from my first SAC Tacoma that I'm modifying to move the engine back, I just didn't take any pics yet.
