I took my truck to the dealer yesterday. My rear suspension sounds like a 100 year old rusty bed in a whore house. They did the "whatever" way back when and now say......"Sorry, we can't do anything for you. The answer is new rear leaf springs but at 1k per side we asume you don't want to do that..." This is absurd, what the hell? For 1k I think I could get an OME set up but not sure if that includes springs, if I had the money which I DO NOT!

    Anyone? it's a 2006 XTD Cab 4x4 TRD. I am pissed.

Might want to stay away from the WD-40. It'll only attract more crap to contribute to the noise making later... You could get new leaf packs AND shocks for the left AND right for less than $1000...don't give the stealership your money

    mine sound like death
i took the wheels off, sprayed the springs out with a pressure washer, dried them, took out the silencer pads and scrubbed/lubed them too.. used a pop stick to spread grease between the leaf springs....still squeeeeeeks!
    wtf!
atleast when i sprayed them down with wd40 the sound went away for 3 weeks
